The tenth anniversary of the Kadare Literary Prize gathers familiar names again. Authors, translators, literary critics and playwrights will choose the best prose in the Albanian language.

The tradition that continues for the tenth year in a row, to which the well-known writer Ismail Kadare entrusted his name, puts the emphasis on Albanian prose and authors, who, regardless of where they live and create, breathe Albanian.

Beyond the monetary value, the greatest value of this award has to do with the promotion of the work and the author.

The winning manuscript will be published by UET Press, in the “Literature” column, while the author will be included in a long tour of readings and promotions of the book, in various activities throughout Albania, accompanied by giving a media voice.

Based on the names of the winners over the years and the impact they have caused, it is expected that this edition will also have new streams and increased interest from well-known and young names of Albanian literature.
