The Committee for Legislation in the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo approved this Tuesday (April 30) the Code of Conduct.
This new code foresees a series of measures for MPs who will break the rules of the assembly, by insulting or inciting violence among parliamentarians.
The punitive measures foresee exclusions from the hearings and administrative measures with the retention of 50% of their salary.
The chairman of the Commission for Legislation, Adnan Rrustemi, declared for the media in Kosovo that the ethics council will be formed, which will have the responsibility to handle the cases and determine the punitive measures.
The introduction of the New Code comes after the insults and physical clashes that happened recently during this legislature in the Assembly of Kosovo.
