On Thursday, the Assembly of Kosovo approved the draft law on budget allocations for the year 2025, which captures the figure of 3.6 billion euros.
The Parliament of Kosovo allocated 4 million euros for the Kosovo Valley. In connection with this decision, the Albanian deputy in the Assembly of Serbia, Shaip Kamberi, also reacted.
Kamberi welcomed the allocation of 4 million euros for the Valley by the Government of Kosovo.
Kamberi said that this budget allocation translates into concrete and tangible support for the Albanians of the Valley.
“The Parliament of the Republic of Kosovo has taken a vitally important decision for the Preseva Valley, a fund of 4 million euros for the year 2025, which translates into concrete and tangible support for the Albanians of the Valley. After the approval in the Government and now the approval in the second reading of the Parliament for this fund is not just a number on paper. It is a clear and strong message from Kosovo that the Albanians of the Valley are not and will never be alone”, wrote Kamberi.
Kamberi said that these tools will go where people’s hearts are touched daily.
“In education, to give our children a wider window towards the future; in culture, to preserve and promote our national values; in sports, to increase the hope and positive energy of youth; and in key sectors that improve daily living. This is a step that goes beyond politics, beyond words, towards genuine work in the service of Albanians and the preservation of national identity in these lands”, he said.
Kamberi said that Lugina is the most powerful shared pride with Kosovo in this difficult situation that, according to him, is being imposed on them by state discrimination.
On Thursday, the Assembly of Kosovo approved in the second reading the Draft Law on budget allocations for 2025, which captures the figure of 3.6 billion euros.
61 deputies from the majority voted in favor of the budget in the second reading, while the opposition was not present in the hall.
