Kosovo has mobilized 85 new inspectors tasked with monitoring whether citizens are respecting pandemic-related measures.
The executive director of the Food and Veterinary Agency, Flamur Kadriu, expressed his readiness in providing logistical support as well as urging maximum engagement during ground checks.
“Apart from the legally mandatory aspect of conducting your job, you need to have a sense of human moral responsibility as your mission is to save the lives and health of the citizens”, said Kadriu.
He said that these ground checks are not “just a job”, but a mission that goes beyond and protecting the lives of the citizens.
“This is the most important task and mission that you will ever have”, he added.
The measure was approved a few days ago when Prime Minster Albin Kurti called the National Security Council amid a deteriorating epidemiological situation.
