The Serbian special unit “Kobre” is suspected to be part of the training of terrorist groups along the border of Serbia and Kosovo.

Members of the Parliamentary Committee for Security in Kosovo have raised concerns again about a possible attack in the northern part of the country. The deputies of the parliament of Kosovo estimate that in this fragile time, vigilance should be increased.

Kobre is the unit that kidnapped three police officers inside the territory of Kosovo, in June 2023. Now, a few months later, the “Kobre” unit, which is subordinate to the Serbian Ministry of Interior, is suspected of training extreme terrorist groups along the border of Serbia with Kosovo.

This is also said by the deputy of the LVV, at the same time the member of the Security Committee, Mefail Bajqinovci, who said that the “Kobre” unit, according to information, is dealing with actions on the border with Kosovo and may be part of the training terrorists and extremists who are trying to enter Kosovo.
