High single-day mortalities and case figures persist in Kosovo, as authorities confirmed 19 victims on Thursday.
The Ministry of Health, based on data provided by the National Institute of Public Health, said that 703 citizens tested positive.
An estimated 131,930 people have defeated the virus from the beginning of the pandemic, a figure that rose by 2,255 from yesterday.
Nearly 975,280 vaccine doses have been administered so far in the country of 2.8 million.
Authorities confirm that 338,147 have received both vaccine doses, which makes up for 16.46% of the population.
However, the number of active cases remains high with over 20,650 citizens currently infected with the virus across the country.
Kosovo has 2,728 confirmed deaths from COVID-19.
