The president of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani held a meeting with her Swiss homolog, Guy Parmelin, the focus of which was cooperation between both countries with a concentration on the economy, education, agriculture, and healthcare.
“The excellent relations between our two countries and our people form a strong basis for opening new chapters of cooperation. We discussed bilateral economic opportunities and agreed to actively engage in this regard,” wrote Osmani on her Facebook post.
In her post, President Osmani also put forward the prospect of Kosovo signing an agreement for free trade with Switzerland. Osmani is currently partaking in the Economic Forum in Switzerland.
“Our two countries are now negotiating the signing of the Free Trade Agreement and this will expand our economic ties which have already huge upheaval thanks to our extraordinary expatriate,” concluded Osmani.
