Kosovo recorded 195 new coronavirus cases over the past day, confirmed the health ministry.
In addition, two citizens died in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of COVID-19 related deaths to 2,270.
The figures have raised concerns about the impact of the Delta variant, known also as a more contagious strain of the virus, as authorities fear that the number of recoveries is much lower than those who are testing positive.
So far, over 105,000 have won the battle against the virus while more than 109,000 have tested positive from the beginning of the pandemic.
According to estimates from health authorities, at least 164,290 citizens have been injected with both vaccine doses.
