As agreed on Wednesday in Brussels, all heavy vehicles barricading the border checks in Jarinje and Bernjak have been retrieved.

After several days, Kosovo’s Special Police Forces Unit is leaving, in order for KFOR to step in.

Thirteen days ago, when Prime Minister Albin Kurti imposed reciprocity on license plates, Serbian citizens blockaded the Jarinje and Bernjak checkpoints to impede any movement across the borders.

Kosovo’s Special Police Forces Unit was dispatched to restore order in the country’s north.

From Monday, Kosovo and Serbia will start applying a sticker regime in order to cover state signs for Serbian and Kosovar license plates.
