The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, sees the talks and negotiations for the normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia as pointless if Prishtina does not accept the formation of the Association.

This is what the Serbian president declared before the meeting with the special envoy of the European Union for the Western Balkans, Miroslav Lajcak, who started his official visit to Belgrade this Monday after a two-day stay in Prishtina, where he talked with the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti.

“I will tell you how I see things and what we can do in the future. On Wednesday and Thursday, I will speak about Kosovo. But if someone is not ready to even talk, let alone implement the Association of Serbian Municipalities, then this does not make sense”, he emphasized.

The next meeting between the leaders of Kosovo and Serbia, under the mediation of the European Union, will be held on March 18 in Ohrid.

The focus of the talks will be the roadmap for the implementation of the agreement on the path towards the normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia, which Vucic and Kurti, according to the head of European diplomacy, Josep Borej, agreed on on February 27 in Brussels.
