Sources for Euronews Albania have confirmed that Edi Rama will meet President Vjosa Osmani and the Speaker of the Assembly, Glauk Konjufca, during his visit to Pristina.

No more details are known yet regarding the timing of the meetings.

Albin Kurti said earlier that he will not meet Prime Minister Rama during the latter’s visit to Kosovo, if the meeting of the two governments is not held. He invited Rama to continue his two-day visit to Pristina on July 6-7 with the meeting of the two governments that was canceled in Gjakovë.

Meanwhile, Rama today during a statement to the media after the government meeting ended, refused to comment on the rejection by the Prime Minister of Kosovo, stressing that he will talk about this issue when it is time to talk, which according to him is tomorrow for Pristina.

What did Albin Kurti declare earlier?

I have kindly asked Prime Minister Rama to hold the meeting of the two governments, which was unreasonably canceled. So that these agreed agreements do not remain in the drawer, I have proposed to Prime Minister Rama that since he is coming to Pristina for two days, we should also hold a joint meeting of the two governments. The Berlin process is very important and there are no leaders in the Balkans like the Prime Minister of Kosovo who has supported and continues to support the Berlin process. It is necessary for me to have the meeting of the two governments. For personal meetings we both have direct contact. I am ready to meet with Prime Minister Rama within the framework of the meeting of the two governments, not in other meetings.
