The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, declared that Serbia is seeking to continue the war, which it lost 23 years ago.
Kurti gave the statement at a press conference this Sunday in Prishtina.
According to him, Serbia is threatening war and the return of its military troops, which committed genocide in Kosovo.
“What we really knew all along was revealed in the most outrageous way possible and in spite of all those who thought otherwise. After 23 years since the end of the war in Kosovo, Serbia threatens again with war and with the return of its military troops, who nearly a quarter of a century ago committed genocide against our people and burned and destroyed our property and wealth,” he emphasized.
The European Union’s Mission for the Rule of Law in Kosovo, EULEX, has confirmed that a bomb was thrown at an observation patrol on Saturday evening, near Rudara, in the municipality of Zveçan.
EULEX announced that no officer of the Specialized Police Unit was injured and no material damage was caused, but it called such attacks unacceptable. Among other things, EULEX announced that it will continue its work for maintaining stability in Kosovo and for the safety of citizens.
