EU’s Special Representative for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak will be conducting separate meetings in Bled, Slovenia with Kosovo’s PM Albin Kurti and the Serbian president, Aleksandar Vucic.
This meeting is in the framework of the high-level negotiations expected totake place between both countries.
Lajcak has said in a previous statement that, “We expect both parties to work together to overcome the legacy of the past and solve all outstanding issues between them.”
Meanwhile, the Strategic Forum is taking place in Bled, Slovenia and it’s been attended by the Commissioner on Enlargement, Varheyli, Albanian PM Edi Rama, Kosovo’s PM Albin Kurti and Macedonian PM, Zoran Zaev and Croatian PM, Andrej Plenkovicit.
In a reaction on Twitter, Kurti stated the following: “I started my day at the Bled Strategic Forum, meeting with the Prime Minister of Croatia, Mr. Andrej Plenković. We discussed economics, security, and ways to further strengthen our exceptional bilateral relations and deepen our cooperation.”
The Croatian PM also spoke to PM Kurti about the notice published by the Croatian Ministry of Health confirming that 44 Kosovar citizens that were part of the tragic bus crash, are receiving medical treatment in several Croatian hospitals.
