The EU Special Representative for the Pristina-Belgrade Dialogue, Miroslav Lajčák will visit Kosovo this Thursday.

Lajčák is set to meet with Prime Minister Albin Kurti and other relevant authorities in Kosovo.

Preparations for the next high-level meeting between Kosovo and Serbia are in focus of this upcoming visit. Lajčák is expected to talk with Kurti about the Association, as well as other items of the agreement.

Parties have expressed different opinions on the draft statute of the Association presented by the Managing Team. Lajčák is expected to reiterate the EU’s stance on this statute, which Kosovo sees as an element that could lead to the discontinuation of the dialogue with Serbia.
