Farmers who own large areas of land in the Maliq plain in Korça city are facing a problem they have not encountered in years.

Most of them have rented the land without making a notarial contract and therefore they do not benefit from free oil.

They point out that the money to pay leases and taxes are added costs.

Two of the farmers who are known as super potential in the village of Sovjan in Maliq have planted more than 80 ha of land with different agricultural crops.

But for these lands, they have not benefited from excise duty-free oil, since the fuel benefits the farmers who have the land documents.

The farmers are looking for a solution from the municipality of Maliq, to solve this situation.

The problem is also accepted by the mayor Maliq, but he sees the solution more in the ministry of agriculture than in the institution he leads.

In the field of Maliq, there are more than 130 potential and super potential farmers who use an area greater than 4200 hectares.

Most of them have not benefited from excise duty free oil.
