On the international day of Europe, Albanian politicians have chosen to share their messages.

President Bajram Begaj commemorated this day through a post on Twitter, describing it as an important day that should be celebrated for unity and peace.

The head of state writes that Albania is inevitably connected to the European Union and that our journey towards the future is the objective to join the countries of the union.

While Prime Minister Rama, who has focused his activity mainly on electoral meetings for the May 14 elections, as usual chose to speak mostly with image.

“Europe is here, Europe is here” is written on the photo published by the head of the government, with the caption “Happy Europe Day”.

Even the speaker of the parliament, Lindita Nikolla, has shared her message for May 9. Through a post on Twitter, Nikolla writes that the big European family has turned into the democratic ideal for which Albanians are working.

“Europe and the United States of America are synonymous with peace, union, westernization, modernization, and well-being,” – it is written, among other things, in the post of the president of the assembly.
