European Member of Parliament Thijs Reuten, through a post on X, welcomed the EU’s decision to lift part of the measures imposed on Kosovo.

Reuten wrote that the European Union’s policy toward Kosovo has been a disaster. According to him, the next step now is the opportunity to restart Kosovo’s journey toward the EU.

“FINALLY! Congratulations, Kosovo. What a disaster this EU policy has been. Now we can once again continue Kosovo’s European path.

Next step: to process Kosovo’s membership application, which has been stalled for years,” Reuten wrote.
