The Socialist Party is holding this Saturday an extraordinary Congress, which also coincides with the party’s 30th anniversary.

After the national anthem was played, a documentary was then broadcasted in the premises of “Air Albania” Stadium, where the congress is taking place. The document unfolded the three-decade journey of the Socialist Party and messages from key figures were also shared.

Among them was also the former leader of SP, Fatos Nano, who during his speech, stressed that the main and biggest challenges for the SP is continuing the reforms in each and every sector as well as Albania’s EU integration.

“Let’s us continue with the reforms to put Albania in the European standard. This is our historic mission and our challenge throughout the years,” Mr. Nano said.
