Courts are back to work after a one-month break in the summer. The Court of Tirana has already started working on several civil and criminal files.
Former prosecutor general Adriatik Llalla is due in court on September 9 where he will learn his sentence after failing to declare his wealth during asset declarations.
The High Court will review the case of former interior minister Saimir Tahiri and decide whether to pursue the trial or drop the corruption charges.
Meanwhile, the Constitutional Court will oversee the impeachment of President Ilir Meta by the parliament on June 9, reports Euronews Albania journalist Merin Maçi.
