The Albanian economy is projected to grow by 7.2% this year but fall back down to 3.8% and 3.7% in the two years that follow.
In their last report, the World Bank corrected its projection for June, by 2.8 percentage points.
Construction, projects in infrastructure and foreign demand have influenced this growth, that was reflected on the annual GDP index for 2021.
Nonetheless, the World Bank notes that our market is missing at least 35 000 jobs compared to 2019. Meanwhile, based on estimates made by the World Bank Group the economic growth in the region will be set at 5.5%.
