The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, after having consulted with political subjects, announced that October 17 will be the official local election day.

Moreover, President Osmani advised the Central Election Commission to take all necessary steps in organizing and holding elections in compliance with the legislation in force.

Back in February, the citizens of Kosovo headed to the polls to decide their new legislative. Kurti’s Vetëvendosje won 58 seats in parliament.

Furthermore, Vjosa Osmani was the most voted candidate.
