In Lonely Planet, a website featuring travel information, British author Laura Millar and her partner Dan published a guide about their four days in Tirana.

She compiled details of their four days in the capital, including all expenses such as accommodation and food.

The hotel had cost 274 US dollars for 3 nights’ stay in an area where “Skanderbeg Square” was a 15-minute walk away. The price included breakfast, which, according to Laura’s description, consisted of eggs, salami, tomatoes, and cucumbers.

Laura mentioned that they had taken a taxi from the airport to the hotel, and the meter translated to 28 US dollars at the end of the journey. The same cost applied to four drinks in the “Blloku” area, along with a tip for the waiter.

The couple enjoyed dinner at a Mediterranean cuisine restaurant, where the food left a very good impression. The cost was also 28 US dollars in this case.

Two beers, two margaritas, and a taxi back to the hotel after dinner amounted to a total of 29 US dollars. In total, their first day in Tirana cost 112 US dollars.

Laura proceeded to detail the expenses for the remaining days of their stay, during which they visited the main tourist attractions, enjoyed excellent food, and frequented interesting local places. As she described, the trip for the remaining three days cost 376 US dollars.

Everything, according to Laura, fell within their predetermined budget, and 762 US dollars for 4 days in Tirana was well worth it. She recommends the experience in Albania to everyone and notes that the quality matched the service.
