2700 new membership cards have been opened in the public library of Vlora. According to the director of the library, the highest interest is noticed by women.

In the bookstore, it is bought only for literary conversations. Since the start of the school year, 2,700 new readers or cards have been added to the “Shefqet Musaraj” public library in Vlora.

“In the last 6 months, about 2700 new cards have been registered. The user of the book was added externally”, said Iltana Koleka.

Meanwhile, in the bookstores of the city, apart from the classic readers, there are young people who buy only for literary conversations or for birthday gifts.

“There are readers, but they are always the same, even these young people get them as birthday gifts, if it was not given to them for a literary conversation, they don’t want it”, – Stavri Cili.

Meanwhile, among the age groups most interested in the book are young people, where a greater approach is noticed by women.

“Here come adults, here come also the youth to be honest, Girls read more”, said Stavri Cili.

However, in the city of Vlora there is a permanent category of readers in which women dominate.
