In implementation of the plan of measures, the Border Police and the Maritime Police Unit have started intensive controls along the entire coastline, lake and river, for the verification of the documentation of the vessels.

In this context, the border police and the marine unit stopped 2 Jet Ski recreational vehicles which after verification turned out to have no documentation. For this reason, the Border Police has blocked the vessels, as well as punished each of the drivers with an administrative measure of 10,000 ALL.

“This initiative comes to guarantee the safety of vacationers during the tourist season, where the police will implement a plan of measures for the exercise of intensive controls along the entire coastline, on watercraft, mainly on those for entertainment,” the border police of Durrës.
