Marko Rošić, one of those convicted for the murder of Serbian politician Oliver Ivanović, has escaped.
Found guilty and sentenced to 8 years in prison by the first instance of the Basic Court in Pristina, Rosič was released from detention and was being defended in freedom.
However, after the announcement of the guilty verdict against him and three others on Friday, June 28, Rosic has escaped from justice. He is not at his home in North Mitrovica by Kosovo police officials.
The news for KosovaPress was confirmed by the deputy director of the Police for the North region, Veton Elshani.
“Yes, he escaped. He was at home”, said Elshani briefly.
On June 28, the Special Department of the Basic Court in Pristina sentenced the four accused for the murder of the Serbian politician, Oliver Ivanović, to 22 years in prison.
