A serious event happened in the morning of this Monday in North Macedonia.

The local media reports that a gun was fired at the vehicle of the mayor of the municipality of Haračina, Ridvan Ibrahimi.

As a result of the shooting, two people were injured, the driver of the mayor of the municipality and an assistant, who are receiving the necessary medical care.

Macedonian media write that the person who carried out the attack has been identified and turns out to be a person with dangerous criminal records.

It is learned that the suspect left in a ‘Golf’ type car in the direction of Haračina-Kumanovë road.

The Macedonian police informs that they have pursued the author and are working to catch him.
