The Prime Minister of Italy, Giorgia Meloni, has shared a video of Edi Rama, where he talks about the agreement for migrants, after claims that the Italian Left (DP) is seeking the exclusion of the SP from the European Socialist Parties.

“The Italian left is trying to exclude the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, from the European Socialist Party for the migrant agreement with Italy. Listen to his effective answer”, Meloni wrote on Facebook alongside the video.

We recall that Prime Minister Rama from Paris, where he is to participate in the Peace Forum, gave an interview to Italian television RETE4 and said that this agreement was drawn up by a group of experts from both countries and that it respects international conventions.

“Precisely because we also want to respect the dignity of these people, we were very careful with the numbers and modalities. And then there was a group of Italian and Albanian experts who worked on the agreement from all angles and also from the point of view of international law. We know we are too small to be the solution, but we have to lend a hand. We honor ourselves and we honor this deep friendship with Italy”, declared Rama.

The agreement signed between Prime Minister Rama and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has been severely criticized both by the opposition in Albania and in Italy.
