The German Chancellor is coming to Tirana tomorrow, as part of her farewell tours in the Balkans, which began this Monday with her visit to Belgrade.

Her briefing room has now published a complete agenda of Merkel’s visit to Albania, which begins at 10:20 a.m. with a welcoming ceremony to be held at the Palace of Brigades. At 10:30 a.m. the chancellor will conduct a one-on-one meeting with PM Edi Rama, which will also take place at the Palace of Brigades, which will be followed with the meeting of our countries’ two delegations.

At 11:55 a.m., the German chancellor and leaders of the government of Balkan countries will meet at Tirana Business Park. In this same venue, at around 02:35 p.m., there will be a press conference amongst PM Rama and the German chancellor.

Merkel’s visit to the Balkans is set to take place only a few weeks before the end of her long-lasting mandate as head of the German government.

This will be her second visit to Tirana, since the last one on July 2015.
