Meta: Berisha has already won the trial on March 3, he is the rightful chairman of the Democratic Party 

The chairman of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, says that the trial for March 3, which will decide on the rightful owner of the seal by either of the two Democratic Party ‘factions’ claiming it, is already won by Sali Berisha.

During ‘NOW with Erla Mehilli” on Euronews Albania, Meta underlined that there is a court decision that recognizes the Statue issued by the Assembly on December 11, 2021 and that the party chairman is Berisha.

According to Meta, registration in the court is hindered by Prime Minister Edi Rama.

“The Democratic Party has won the trial. It is a court decision, it is public, and official and it makes it clear that this is the party of December 11 and that has elected Mr. Berisha as its president. But as you know, it is an order of Edi Rama that the chancellor did not register this decision in the court. It is an indication of Ramaforma, what the reform in justice was, under the complete control of Edi Rama”, he emphasized.
