The 7th edition of the international music festival started last night with two concerts in Korça.
The first concert was that of pianist Red Radoja, who lives and works as a piano teacher in France.
Radoja with his piano playing has attracted the attention of many art lovers on the stage of the “Andon Zako Çajupi” theater in Korçë, while the second concert of the first night of MIK FESTIVAL was that of the Albanian soprano Dëshira Ahmeti, soloist in the national opera of North Macedonia.
“Today we came with a message from the Albanian-Macedonian coexistence, where we live together, I am a soloist in North Macedonia, the first Albanian soloist and there was none before me, I continue to be and I am sorry. My work, my mission is to present the Albanian in the theater, and to bring you to beautiful Albania, to give you different messages in addition to music,” said soprano Dëshira Ahmeti.
Music diva Inva Mula has managed to bring well-known Albanian and foreign soloists and instrumentalists to this edition as well.
“These 7 years have passed very quickly. It would be such a beautiful bouquet of music, with a variety of styles, more artists, with different nationalities, with different languages. A bouquet which is offered to the public of Korça and gives me satisfaction, I feel privileged. It was easy, noone says NO” said Inva Mula.
MIK FESTIVAL after the Agimi operetta, you would travel to Drenova e Asdren with “Inva Mula and friends” and to Voskopoja, where the last concert will be in the church of Saint Kolli.
