The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of Albania, Igli Hasani, will conduct a three-day regional tour from January 16 to 18: Kosovo – North Macedonia – Montenegro.
Kosovo will be the first stop, where Minister Hasani will be received by his counterpart Donika Gërvalla. They will hold a press conference, followed by meetings with President Vjosa Osmani, the Speaker of the Parliament Glauk Konjufca, Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi, and representatives of political parties.
On Wednesday, Minister Hasani will be welcomed in Skopje by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bujar Osmani, the Speaker of the Parliament Talat Xhaferi, Prime Minister Dimitar Kovačevski, and Deputy Prime Ministers Artan Grubi and Bojan Maricikj. Minister Hasani will also have meetings with leaders of Albanian political parties.
In Montenegro, on Thursday, Minister Hasani will meet in Podgorica with his counterpart Filip Ivanović, President Jakov Milatović, Deputy Prime Minister Nik Gjeloshaj, the National Council of Albanians, and the leaders of Albanian political parties in Montenegro.
The tour aims to further enhance substantive, deep, and concrete cooperation between the countries, as well as the further development of good neighborly relations. The visits will focus on bilateral relations, security issues, and the future of the region in the European Union.
