Minister of Agriculture, Frida Krifca reassured farmers that authorities are closely monitoring the situation caused by storms and bad weather conditions. 

It is being kept under the control of all hydrovores declares the Directorates of Irrigation and Drainage, while providing further clarifications that so far everything is at normal levels.

“Directorates are on alert and in constant communication with Civil Emergency structures, Municipalities and OSSHE. The National Veterinary and Plant Protection Authority, through the four Regional Directorates, is in contact with farmers and recalls detailed recommendations on how they should be vigilant to take measures to protect the health and life of people on the farm and agricultural products, ” – Krifca wrote on her Facebook page.
