Minister of Tourism, Mirela Kumbaro stated in an interview for Euronews Albania that visas with Japan will soon be removed.

She added that Albania is on Japan’s tourist map.

“Let me confirm to you that the bilateral meeting at the level of the two prime ministers, as well as at the level of the delegation, was an excellent meeting that lasted and that had a depth of communication and intensity of arguments, from which I believe we will have many results good in the cooperation not just in tourism, but especially in the economic cooperation that interests us the most,” – stated Kumbaro.

The minister emphasized that the Japanese prime minister confirmed during the meeting that he has planned the appointment of an ambassador dedicated to the Western Balkans and it is the first time that something like this has happened.
