The head of the PDK, Nard Ndoka, called the reaction of the Albanian Foreign Ministry to the replacement of the American ambassador Yuri Kim excessive and provocative.

“The games of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are provocative and excessive. They are not dignified even for the prime minister himself. It is a case of a unique party in these 30 years”, said Ndoka during an interview for Euronews Albania.

Ndoka also commented on today’s statement by Ambassador Yuri Kim, who said that she will stay in Albania even longer.

“For me, the mandate of an ambassador is not important, due to the fact that there is a kind of continuity. In my opinion, the ambassador has crossed the line, I don’t know if we can separate it from the US Department of State’s decisions, or the excessive protagonism that the ambassador has shown. This requires a more detailed political and diplomatic analysis”, said the ambassador.
