The use of cutting tools by minors has recently become a worrying phenomenon for society.

Three new cases of knife fights between minors were registered in one day, during the last 24 hours, in Shkodër, Peshkopi and Selenica.

As a result, due to banal fights, 1 minor was injured and two others were threatened.

A 15-year-old in Shkodër threatened a 13-year-old with a knife.

In Peshkopi, an 18-year-old injured his peer with a cutting tool.

While in Selenica, a 13-year-old threatened another 13-year-old with a knife

The serious incident of the murder of the 14-year-old at the “Fan Noli” school and the wounding of his friend should have served as an alarm bell for awareness and prevention of these acts. But it appears knife fights are turning into a worrying trend, raising deep questions about youth safety and education.
