The political crisis has been going on for several months in Montenegro and if the mandated for the formation of the new government, Miodrag Lekič, fails to form it, he will consider the possibility of proposing to Parliament the formation of a technical government that would prepare for choice.

The Montenegrin media “Vijesti” writes that the acting prime minister, Dritan Abazovic, still maintains his previous position that the best solution is to rebuild his cabinet, which would function until the regular parliamentary elections in 2024.

Based on the new provisions of the Law on the President, Lekić received a mandate from Parliament for the formation of the Government and the deadline for this is March 16.
