President Recep Tayyip Erdogan delivered his speech at the inauguration ceremony of the Namazgja mosque, he thanked all those who make possible the construction of this mosque, which will serve 10,000 Muslim believers.

He said that this mosque will take its place in the great works which according to him will amaze and offer peace of mind to all those who look at it. The “Mosque of Namazgja” said Erdogan “is a symbol of brotherhood” between the two countries.

“Let me thank you with my deepest and most heartfelt feelings. Today I am especially very enthusiastic and happy to be here together with you. For this reason, I want to thank each of you for the emotion you gave me. Personally, I am much luckier today, that I am in this very holy environment, and I pray to Allah Almighty, that the mosque of Namazgja, which is the largest mosque in the Balkans, the foundations of which we laid in 2019, will benefit all Muslims in the Balkans.

I would like to express my consideration, gratitude and my deepest thanks to the Prime Minister of Albania, Mr. Edi Rama, who during the construction process of the Namazgja mosque, this mosque was built with the contributions and investments of the head of religious affairs of Turkey and at the same time I want to thank all the Albanians who have contributed even a little to the realization of this magnificent work!

We have designed the great mosque of Namazgja as a structure which in its interior carries and transports values ​​from tradition to the future and other values ​​from antiquity to the newest technology that was used during construction,” said Turkish President Erdogan.
