Sources for Euronews Albania inform that Roland Bejko and Jonila Godole are the two names that were proposed during the presidency meeting to be candidates for Tirana Municipality.

Journalist Ardit Hoxha reported that there are 3 scenarios to enter the May 14 elections. The first is to compete with full power in 61 municipalities for both the Councils and mayors, the other option is to partially compete for the mayors, that is, in some municipalities, a free zone is left for primary candidates.

Another variant is that the DP does not participate in the elections for mayors, not presenting any candidacy, but competes only for the Municipal Councils.
