Starting from today, the National Museum of History will be equipped with audio guides that will help tourists understand more about the eight pavilions found in this institution.

Personal tablets and earphones will be available to all visitors, giving them the opportunity to listen to the program interface in both Albanian and English languages.

“We are also working on adding other languages like French, Italian and German,” said Dorian Koci, Director of the National Museum of History.

Until now, the Museum is equipped with 60 tablets that will immediately be accessible by all visitors.

“We currently have 60 tablets, which is usually the maximum number of groups that can attend at a time, 30-40 or a maximum of 50-60 visitors,” said Koci.

Part of the interface will be 5 categories, where one of them is a Tour of the Museum, providing a presentation of all the museum’s pavilions to the user.

“The audio-guide gives you the opportunity to follow any part you like, so from the first pavilion you can jump on to the third and so forth,” said the Museum’s director.

Yet another good news for history lovers is the extension of opening hours for the museums and archeological sites in Albania, in order to offer higher availability for tourists visiting our country.
