NATO has published an official statement in which condemns the tense situation in the north of Kosovo.
NATO has described the attacks on KFOR as unacceptable, while it has called on the parties to engage in dialogue and give up on actions that incite violence.
Full statement:
NATO strongly condemns the unprovoked attacks against KFOR troops in the north of Kosovo, which have led to the wounding of a number of them. Such attacks are completely unacceptable. The violence must stop immediately. We call on all parties to refrain from actions that further fuel tensions and engage in dialogue. KFOR will take all necessary actions to maintain a safe and secure environment and will continue to act impartially, in accordance with its mandate under United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244. of 1999.
