11 arrested members of Laert Haxhiu’s gang were left in prison this Sunday, while the session at the Court of Elbasan was held under strong security measures.

Judge Megi Strakosha accepted the request of the prosecutor of the case, Kreshnik Ajazi, who asked for the security measure “prison arrest” for all the accused.

Artan Tafani, Erisiana Abedini, Lulzim Spahia, Ligor Romaçka, Bujar Abedini, Bledar Berberi, Mariglen Topuzi, Enriko Xhahysa, Klea Xhafa, Idriz Manaj and Fatjon Haxhiu were left in prison.

They were arrested during the “Never Forget” operation, developed a few days ago, which lasted about 12 hours, where the police were able to destroy a group of hitmans who had committed crimes in different cities of Albania and abroad and were anonymous for the police.
