The new Director of the National Agency for Information Society (AKSHI), Igli Tafa, was officially presented this Tuesday. In his remarks, Tafa said it is a great responsibility to lead AKSHI and emphasized that he will work together with the staff to implement the vision of Prime Minister Edi Rama for the digitalization of all public services.

“Thank you for the trust. It is an extraordinary responsibility to lead AKSHI, a successful institution that is not only technological, but also the heart of modernity and digital transformation, providing services to all citizens and businesses across the country.

It is an institution that represents a key link in cooperation with other institutions, not only in the public sector but also in the private one. You have all the capacities to carry forward the Prime Minister’s vision for the digitalization of all services for businesses and citizens.

AKSHI will do its utmost to offer increasingly sustainable services and will deliver platforms such as e-Albania 2.0, as well as advance artificial intelligence technologies, so that we become leaders beyond the region in the field of digitalization and advanced AI,” he said.
