New details have emerged on the case of an Albanian woman stabbed to death by her ex-husband in Aachen, Germany.
A family member of the victim spoke to local media in Kosovo, describing the dynamic of the crime.
In the moment she was stabbed, 28-year-old Jetmira Baka, originally from Mitrovica, was together with her younger sister.
“The ex-husband continuously used violence. They had only recently split up. He killed Jetmira in front of her 18-year-old sister. She was attacked by the perpetrator, while trying to stop the act. She suffered an injury to her hand, but is out of danger,” the family member told local media in Kosovo.
The crime was registered on May 20th, in a parking lot in Aachen. German and Kosovan media identified the perpetrator as 37-year-old Besmir Ademi, originally from Mitrovica. According to reports, the author surrendered himself to the police, and confessed the crime to the investigators.
The victim’s mother said Ademi was abusive towards her daughter, and that was the reason behind their divorce. The 28-year-old is reportedly the mother of three children.
