The Agency for the Prevention of Corruption, supported by UNDP in Kosovo, has launched the online platform for reporting corruption, which will use technology measures to prevent corruption.

The director of APK, Yll Buleshkaj said this application shows that technology can be put before the rule of law and the prevention of corruption.

“We, as an agency, try to be witnesses and a good example of the use of technology in the prevailing of justice. This application, which will be launched today, and many other applications, which have been launched in the past, show that technology can be put to the service of the rule of law and the prevention of corruption… We ask every citizen of the Republic of Kosovo to cooperate with us, because civic participation is our strength”, said Buleshkaj.

Meanwhile, the chairman of the Parliamentary Commission for the supervision of the APK, Adnan Rrustemi, added that this platform offers a modern, safe and confidential way for citizens to report cases of corruption.

Also, the permanent deputy representative of UNDP in Kosovo, Dudley Tarlton, said that UNDP has supported APK in order to identify risks and digitize the reporting platform.
