North Macedonia eases pandemic related restrictions

The government of North Macedonia is relaxing some of the pandemic measures in force aimed to curb the spread of the virus.

According to the new rules, the nationwide curfew will be extended from 12 PM to 5 AM.

Hotel rooftops will have to close at 11:30 PM, while gyms and kindergartens can resume their activities.

In the past week, North Macedonia recorded 1,313 new infections and 188 deaths from COVID-19, a considerably lower weekly figure compared to the weeks before.
