The month of November this year marked a record number of accidents. According to INSTAT data, 167 accidents were registered throughout the country. Most of the accidents involve drivers aged 25-34.

Accidents in Albania during November have increased. From 92 that happened a year ago, this year there were 167 accidents in the month of November. An increase of 81.5% compared to November last year.

Most of the accidents occurred as a result of wrong driving by vehicle drivers, where in 88% of cases they are the main cause.

Young people continue to be the most problematic. Where the 25-34 age group accounts for 34.7% of the total number of accidents.

As for the days of the week, Wednesday turns out to be more problematic, while Monday is the one with the fewest number of accidents registered, with 8.9%.

While the highest number of road accidents occurred during the time frame 08:00-12:00, accounting for 22.8% of the total number of road accidents.

Meanwhile, from January to November of this year, 1,128 road accidents were recorded, while the number of injured is 1,531 people. Road accidents, in 12.0% of cases, occurred as a result of pedestrian behavior.
