In October of this year, the number of visitors (local and foreign) in hotels was 57,658, of which 40 percent were local and 59.9 percent were foreign. Compared to October 2023 (there were 55 thousand 22 visitors), there was an increase in the total number of visitors to hotels by 4.6 percent.

According to the Statistics Agency of Kosovo, the number of online stays was 137,551, 49.6 percent of them from locals and 50.3 percent from foreigners. Also, the number of domestic visitors and their overnight stays in hotels, according to regions.

“The region of Peja has the largest number of internal visitors in hotels with 8,578 visitors and 30,353 overnight stays. The number of foreign visitors and their stays in hotels, according to the countries they come from”, says the KAS report.

Meanwhile, as far as foreign visitors are concerned, compared to the previous period of October 2023, there is an increase in visitors by 13.7%. Meanwhile, a total of 34,488 foreign visitors, of which the largest number is from Albania, Turkey, Germany, Switzerland, etc.
