Tourist entities in Lukova have started preparations to welcome the vacationers who will go to the tourist village, for the crystal waters and the mountainous terrain at the same time. The tourist village, frequented in large numbers by local tourists, has made foreigners interested.

A young Dutch woman has planned 1 week of her vacation in Lukova, for peace and nature.

“It’s our second week in Albania, the first week we spent in the village in Piqerras, while now we’re here. We were looking for a new accommodation and we found an apartment near the sea. It’s our third day at this beach, it’s very quiet, open sea, no music, I really like it when the place is quiet. The food is good, it’s sunny, I like everything here,” she said.

Although foreigners are visiting it more and more, Albanians continue to remain loyal to the coast of Lukova.

“I come to spend 3-4 hours here, calm down, rest and leave again. Now is the season when it is necessary to rest, relax, get some rays,” said a citizen.

On one point, Albanian and foreign vacationers agree, Lukova should be promoted more, because of the great tourist potential it has.

“It is definitely beautiful, here are beautiful beaches, everything is beautiful, nature, the sea, the bars. Also has plenty of space to sit, it is not necessary to sit on the sunbed, you can sit on the sand,” said a citizen.

“This place is not commercial, is a unique place. It is a huge tourism potential here that has not yet been developed. I will suggest it to my friends because it is nice and cheap here, unlike what you can spend in Greece or Turkey,” said the Dutch woman.

Lukova is the last in the south to be populated, but with loyal vacationers and foreigners discovering it for the first time, it has the potential to become one of the most visited destinations.
