The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani has expected the leader of the Democratic Alliance of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku, while also congratulating him on the constructive role that LDK played during the conclusive process for the establishment of institutions after the February 14th elections.
Osmani wrote on Facebook that she has ensured Abdixhiku that the institution of the Presidency will always be in the service of the strengthening of the collaboration and dialogue between political parties, with a special focus on themes of national interest.
“Opposition parties play a crucial role in processes of great importance for our country. Which is why today, I held a meeting with the leader of the Democratic Alliance of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku. I congratulated him on the constructive role that LDK played during the conclusive process of the establishment of institutions after the February 14th elections.
I ensured Abdixhiku that the institution of the Presidency will always be in the service of the strengthening of the collaboration and dialogue between political parties, with a special focus on topics of national interest. This is why, I welcome the contribution of all political parties in the opposition for matters related to national interest and the well-being of citizens. We agreed with Abdixhiku to continue our discussions for the topics that require broad political and social consensus,” wrote Osmani.
