The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, held a meeting this Wednesday with Ambassador William Walker. The meeting comes on the eve of the anniversary of the Reçak Massacre.

Through a post on Facebook, Osmani shared images from the meeting, describing Walker as the voice that transformed the pain of the people of Kosovo into a call for justice.

“As every year, on the eve of the anniversary of the Reçak Massacre, we came together with Ambassador William Walker—the man who, in Kosovo’s darkest hours, spoke the truth and stood by it.

He is the voice that turned our pain into a call for justice. Our gratitude is everlasting, just as our obligation that the truth about Reçak is never forgotten,” Osmani wrote.
